Administrative costs are expected to be $18,945 The whole project is estimated to cost $3.8 million. ¯Granville Township will use $86,308 for a multi-year sewer extension down Hawstone Road, from Tower Hill Road to Building House Lane. Derry Township will also put $33,561 into single family housing rehabilitation. ¯Derry Township will use $72,587 for improvements to the Yeagertown Senior Center, including flooring replacements, entry door replacement, countertop replacement, restroom replacement, a hot water heater and exterior improvements. This project includes $16,897 in administrative funding ¯Brown Township will use $76,979 to install new and replace existing sidewalks along Walnut Street, from Main Street to Maple Street. This will include administrative costs of $41,945 ¯Mifflin County will use $191,083 for housing rehabilitation for income eligible single family homes. The board also approved the 2021 Community Development Block Grant application on behalf of Brown, Derry and Granville township supervisors and Lewistown Borough Council.Ĭommunity Development Administrator Chastity Fultz said a total of $701,868 will go toward the following projects: “We need to make whole our businesses that have suffered terribly during this pandemic and this is a way to do that.”įisher encouraged landlords who are not receiving tenant cooperation to contact the Human Services office. “In our community, landlords are small business owners, and small business is the backbone of this community,” Fisher said.
